All of the sports and co-curricular activities at the College are heavily supported by the relevant parent support groups. This is an exciting time at The Scots College with significant change and development occurring across all aspects of College operations. Be part of the Football support group and help Football take full advantage of this opportunity and reach its full potential. Football Support Group Executive - Nominations

Role Description
   

President

Co-ordinate all activities and support group members. Lead sponsorship and fundraising efforts and be prime link to other corporate relationships. Represent Football within the Scots College organization and maintain personal relationships with the College Principal, Football MIC and other senior staff.
   

Vice President

Support the activities of the President and be a potential future President. Preference is to fill this position from Years 9 or 10. Also provide a link to Year 10 parents for Support group activities
   

Vice President (Junior Years)

Support the President with a particular focus on working with College staff on the longer term development of football. To support other members of the Football Support Group in involving parents from the junior school
   
Secretary
Accurately record minutes of support group meetings and maintain relationships with the College administrative and catering staff
   

Treasurer

Maintain financial records, provide cashflow forecasts and control expenditure within budgets and prudential financial standards.
   
Additional Football Support Group Roles - Nominations
   
Web Page Co-ordinator
Establish and maintain the Scots Football web page with key information, event notification and match results.
   
Prep School Liaison A prep school parent that provides a link between the senior and prep schools. Organises prep school parents to assist with Support group activities.
   
Annual Fundraising Evening
Co-ordinator
Organise an Annual Fundraising Dinner. Arrange a location, source donations and auction items and market event to ensure strong attendance. Role is expected to be filled by a parent from Years 7-9.
   
Events Co-ordinator
Actively recruit members of the football community to support the running of particular events and attendance at such events.
   
10 Willing Volunteers
Develop a list of approximately 10 parents from across the College football community to assist with any of the football support group activities.  This will include set-up and staffing of events, selling of raffle tickets or greeting attendees etc.
